My love for photography first began during a trip to New Zealand in 2001. The amazing scenery that surrounded me there took my breath away and made me realise that the natural world is a beautiful place. When I came back to Northern Ireland I bought myself a camera and started to learn how to best use it to enable me to capture the natural beauty of my homeland.

It wasn't until 2006 that I began to take my passion more seriously. I devoted myself to travelling around Northern Ireland attempting to capture the wonderful scenery here in an extensive collection of inspiring photographic images. The political turmoil and senseless violence that have been reported from Northern Ireland so often over the years can sometimes cloud people‘s perception of our country. What many people forget is that, for all those published pictures of burning buildings and prattling politicians, there are also hundreds of great photographs to be had of sumptuous scenery and luscious landscapes. It is my aim to take as many of these great photographs as I can. It is a hugely fulfilling journey for me and I hope you enjoy viewing the photographs as much as I enjoy taking them.
